Falling Up
Bela was commissioned by Mimbre acrobats for their touring street theatre show, Falling Up.
It toured the UK and Europe with Bela’s specially composed soundtrack receiving funding from the PRS Foundation.
Mimbre is a female-led company creating nuanced, breathtaking and highly skilled acrobatic theatre. They use circus and dance innovatively as a physical language to illuminate human connections and promote a positive image of women.

Spring Equinox

The disquieting dreams of contemporary Bohemian and British artists are united with documentation of the Moravian people of Ratiskovice faithfully practicing their rural traditions. Through this, Spring Equinox presents shifts in nature, individuals and society.

This short documentary focuses on the contemporary landscape artist Marco Crivello.

Bela’s played with innumerable other musicians, including on Wonderwall live with Liam Gallagher at Birmingham Arena, and a month at Sydney Opera House with junk percussion company Stomp. She’s also recorded with The Damned and Sea Power.
Other collaborations include BBC Radio 4 /BFI projects with Sarah Angliss, Stephen Hiscock, Tamsin Grieg, and Rory Bremner.
Bela has performed at numerous prestigious festivals including Glastonbury, Supersonic and Bestival. She also recorded four BBC Radio 1 sessions for John Peel with Lianne Hall.
